Little Angels uses the PA Learning Standards to guide our curriculum and form our lesson plans. This curriculum is a play based curriculum and encourages all areas of development. Our teachers are experienced in integrating all skills in their daily activities such as: language/literacy, social, emotional, physical, problem solving, science, math, and social studies. We are able to do this in a fun and enjoyable way while making adult interaction a key part of development. We also encourage and explore many creative outlets. Our belief is that the process of the creative experience outways the product. At Little Angels we pride ourselves for being a small family like center where each parent and child feels at home. We take part in many whole school activies and encourage the participation of parents. We may be small but we make a big impact. Outside play time is very important to us and all ages take advantage of it daily. Our older children also benefit from monthly trips, this furthers our learning opportunities. Our Pre-K students are introduced to Alpha-Time in order to prepare for kindergarden. Our philosophy is that children learn through their environment and should enjoy doing so. Learning should be fun and exciting. Positive reinforcement and attitude will help our angels fly into a future filled with high self esteem and positive energy.
